Well This one was a hard one to come up with! I guess i would like to have Rush record one of my own songs!

I wouldn't mind going to every Rush show...but not as a roadie. Those guys work way too hard.

 

I chose: watch them them record their next album.

Hmm...toughie because I am not thrilled with any of the choices, gotta be honest.

 

Watching them record their next album would be cool but I honestly think I would get... dare I say it... bored. When it comes to music, I love listening to it but I really can't get into the dynamics of it, i.e. making music, studying music. I had a hell of a time trying to remember keys in music classes, like Key of E. No clue what it is and don't really care as long as it sounds good.

 

 

Seeing every Rush show as a roadie would mean I wouldn't see the show; I'd be working. But I'd get to see them every night and probably interact with them somehow... might be interesting.

 

 

Again, I don't write music nor care to so the rest are out for the most part.

That was a little hard there, been a roadie, sound and lights and yes that is a lot of work and a lot of fun, if I was 30 may be. To watch them do there next album would be awesome too. But after they finish that I'll pick the set list for a tour Thank You..

I would love to jam with them on stage....a dream come true no doubt.

 

And the song would be The Spirit of Radio. To jam that tune with them while the crowd goes insane...and getting to see and feel the power and energy of the crowd duing the "concert hall" part....

If you like having almost no sleep and working your ass to the bone, have at it . I know a few of them with Major bands and unless you are the guy that hands Ged his water on stage and nothing more it is rough. People have no idea how hard they work

I don't play/write music, so jamming on stage or recording an original song are out. Roadies don't actually get to see the show, so never mind. Picking the setlist would be cool, but then I'd have to deal with Geddy, Alex, and Neil giving me nasty looks in turn as I selected something they're totally sick of

 

So I'd watch them record the next album. Granted there's a lot of waiting around, but seeing the give/take between each of the band members, as well as between the band and the producer, would be fascinating.

I always wanted to be a roadie when I was growing up...almost was, then I got pregnant.

I would love to get up on stage and play Limelight with them, I'd be backing Alex up on the guitar. Al would then allow me to play the solo on my own while all the stage lights come down around me. And the crowd goes wild...
