I'll be there. But my meet up possibilities are going to be limited b/c I'll be escorting my 75 yr-old Dad to his first rock concert. Or maybe they won't be. Meeting a bunch of Rush maniacs could be good for him...

That's great Space about taking your 75 year old dad to see Rush!

My dad is 73 now and he's seen Rush three times!!! He loves them.

My mom saw the R30 show in Vegas and totally loved it!!

Rush on!

I expect to see some real-time updates of the setlist spoilers! and some youtube videos posted within a few hours after the concert.

Oh man, I remember posting the '08 setlist song-for-song as updates came to RIAB. That was fun. Hope I can do it again. laugh.gif

HAHAHA!! Shaun!! I would love to be the Spoiler, but I will not type a word.

I will NOT bring my Mac Laptop on the Road To Madness.

June 29th will be like Christmas morning for me. Of course we all know they are playing six songs that we all know of but I seriously don't want to know a thing.

As much as I love this Forum, I think I took a lot of time away from here during the Snakes & Arrows Tour because I didn't want to know a thing.

Anyway, I will turn into "TOMMY" before that New Mexico show.

Tim!!

At this point I am only taking in four shows. I'm kind of bummed because I want to hit 50, but thus far it will only be to 49.

1. New Mexico

2. Mountain View

3. Red Rocks

4. Red Rocks II

I was really bummed that they are blowing off the Concord Pavilion.

Remember, I've had two incredible memories there.

Vapor Trails Tour: When I saw Neil and he saw me by his bus and quickly went back on it and shut the door. Recluse Spiderphobia.

Then again on the S&A Tour, I pulled off the freeway on to Treat Blvd on my way home, and all of the sudden right in front of me was Neil's bus and motorcycle trailer. I followed the bus to the Pavilion.

I actually called Cindy, Nobody's Hero as I was behind his bus. Of course I kept my distance.

What were the odds man? I was driving my Xterra at the time with my YY2112Z plates. I wanted Neil to see them, but of course...... FAIL.

I wanted to do Vegas and maybe on of those L.A. shows this summer, but man, business is slow and I better be a good boy and chillax.

I am sure they will tour again with their new album in 2012. Right?

That was so funny when you called to tell me you were riding behind him. So cool that something that innocent can get a Rush fan so stoked!

Glad to see you are hitting both RR shows. Chey and I may drive down to Albuquerque, then I can meet the girls.

From what I've heard, they're supposed to finish the record after this tour, put it out, and do an album tour next year.

You're funny buddy, but hey I'm a lot older than you!

You are doing just fine, and I don't think Rush is retiring any time soon.

They are addicted to touring, so even if this is their last studio record, I bet you they will be touring into their early sixties. You will have many chances to see them in the future!

I attended the show at this venue on the last tour and have plans to do the same this season. My wife and I drive down through the 14er's in Colorado and stay in Santa Fe, driving into the Paviilion the following day. It was a fine trip indeed. My plans this year include this show, Vegas and the Red Rocks pair.

you could also drive down 285 to the san luis valley and go by the sand dunes. the san luis valley is awesome and the birds down there at certain points of the year will blow your mind. watch out for aliens . cool10.gif if you have the time go over chama pass to chama.

most importantly, when in new mexico eat as much green chile as is humanly possible.

Thanks guys! I wanted to make sure we would be driving where it is populated and others on the road with us since it will be just me and my daughter.

if thats the case, I-25 is for you. the san luis valley and 285 while much more scenic is much more remote.
