I've named my Thunderbird "Sheila", my Cort headless bass "Cortina", and my Ibanez Artcore is named "Cassandra"

I have a Spanish Classical that i'm thinking of naming Consuela

I think giving names to instruments is a great idea.

All of my guitars are like my children. I think and spend as much time with them just as much as my real children.

I have a yellow fender stratocaster that I'd like to give a name because I love it so much.

What would be some good names for this guitar?

No horrid guns in an instrument thread, plz! tongue.gif

Since I started it, allow me to offer my apologies. In fact, I also extend to you an open invitation to go target shooting with my friends and I anytime you like. I promise you'll have fun.

It is a crap load of fun. I recently went with my friend to shoot at a target range with pistols and had a frekin' blast. I didn't want it to end.

I would imagine naming guns and guitars are very similar. They are both very personal items.

I sometimes call my Les Paul, Lester. My ES-335 doesn't have a name. I should give it one.

More often then not though, I call them both Gibson.
