Question for those familiar with the drive between Toronto and Sarnia, what should I expect in the way of traffic and travel times? I know what Mapquest says but I was wondering what the locals think!

I'll be leaving Toronto around noon or so, does that route get crazy on Fridays in the summer?

Well, I know of one (me) driving 3 hours to get there.

My hubby will not be making the trip with me. But I'm excited to say that my friend - a fellow Rush-chick and my all time favorite concert companion - is making the flight from NYC to Detroit to go with me. (The hubby is grateful for it too.)

I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am that she's coming!!

(Oh, and it's Michiganders, thank you very much. http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/tongue.gif )

Ok, so now we need a meet up spot for before the show. Grab some food and a maybe a beer. Hang out and meet some fellow TRF Rush fans.

One more show to go!!!!!! SO EXCITED!!!

Is driving in Canada radically different?

Driving is pretty much exactly the same.

PM Sundog or me and we'll meet up for some grub before the show if you'll have time.

Altho I'm a Michigander and not from Toronto, I have made the drive to & from Toronto many many times. You're looking at approximately a 2 -3 hr drive on the 401 to the 402 depending on how fast you go.

Not sure of the construction on either 401 or the 402, but usually once you get past Mississauga, the drive is pretty smooth sailing. Especially on the 402. Mostly truckers heading to the Blue Water bridge.

That's the route I go mostly to TO. I LOVE the Duty free there !!!!! http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif
