This is an interesting thing.

 

this also reminds me of a post back on the Rush Chronicles for VT where some person analyzed all the tarot cards shown in the album artwork...

it was later banned... which sucked cause I wanted to read it again.

I'm pretty sure a great deal (if not all) of it was intentional, especially given the direct connections between some of the symbols and the band members.

 

How much input the band had themselves, hard to guess.

Anybody else notice that the year digits are changing from 2010 to 2011 on the graphic? Is there a deeper meaning...obviously there must be with this sweet elemental info on the clock.

1) Gear with a Red Ball / Steering Wheel = The Dragon

 

2) Gear with a Clock = The Beast

 

3) Gear with Number 3 = The False Prophet

 

* The Three Gears = The Unholy Trinity

I have close friends and family that think Rush is some sort of cult band. Especially with the Starman... OMG!

Sticker Kit Gear Arrangement:

Although, If you haven't already noticed, the four gear Time Machine symbol would be a non functioning gear driven mechanism.

Because the #3 gear in the top right would be working against the clock gear and the time machine gear, eventually stripping the teeth from the #3 gear.

 

As it would be called ~ An interference fit.
