We are down to only one pet right now....

This is Willow. She was my Mother's Day gift 5 years ago.

Might as well put my cat here, even if she is impossible to get a good picture of, I had to take about 50 before I got this ok one.

If the picture is too dark she looks black, too bright and she can't stay still...plus laser eyes (I bribed her with everything from treats to catnip)

I ended up getting this one by distracting her with a flashlight.

Here's Claire (who turns 5 months old today)

Even this picture doesn't get her most prominent marking, a white/cream splotch that goes from her chin down to her upper chest, but it gets the 2 orange stripes on that side, and her black whiskers are hard to make out.

I need to get more/better pictures.

She is a really good cat though, just still an energetic kitten.

^ Hey, I may have mentioned to you before, but we live very close (I'm actually in Liverpool, rather than Syracuse itself), and we have a show in common!

Cute kitty! I know how challenging it is to get good pics of dark colored cats!

Btw, I made a mistake in my first post about him. He's not a Lurcher, he's a Greyhound-Saluki cross, but they are similar and I kept hearing/seeing the word 'Lurcher' floating around about the time we got him. tongue.gif oops.gif

My mare was unofficially diagnosed with DSLD (I'm taking her into the University for a biopsy and pain test/nerve blocker). This was about a month ago right before I went to Ireland when she was diagnosed. She's taking it in stride (much better than I am):

Her new "leg warmers" (ha!) are forest green! Ooo!!

Sorry to hear that IA. sad.gif I know what your going through. I had to put my cat down after 14 years last November. I hope you get yourself another dog soon. It certainly helps ease the pain.

Sorry to hear that. We had to put our golden retriever down last spring. She was 14 years old, so she lived a long life.

Thanks guys. smile.gif I'm just glad I had a chance to say goodbye to him, and that his pain (bone cancer in his front leg) is over.

I don't think we're getting another dog right away...it's kinda hectic at my place right now and I don't think we have time to properly train and take care of a puppy.

Cute guy, Khan yes.gif
