"Wendy Took A Raincheck!" Listening To "Images

"Sugar Mice" better than Steve Hogarth! Well so says my wife!

I finally got around to listening to that Fan Club Dream Threater live cd tonight. "Images & Words" performed live all the way through.

It's very good. Anyway to my pleasant surprise DT played a little bit of "Sugar Mice" by Marillion of course.

No one can touch FISH, but Wendy just blurted out that she thinks James LaBrie can sing the Fish shit better than Steve Hogarth.

For the first time in my life I totally agree with Wendy. LOL!

Hogarth is not my cup of Marillion Tea. Well especially after "Afraid Of Sunlight."

I actually find James annoying sometimes, however Hogarth, or as the arrogant reclusive prick likes to be called, "H" he too can also get on my nerves. Actually "H" puts me to sleep when he opens up his nasal trap.

I sent an email to Marillion asking them to give Rothery more sweeping melodic guitar solos and to pick up the tempo on their next record.

What's that song by Genesis called?

Oh yeah, "No Reply At All." laugh.gif

Hogwarth is an Egotestical Bore.

Hey Claw it's an official release from the Dream Theater Fan Club.

It's rare but they are out there floating around.

I know that there is a huge "H" following. I for one can not get on board.

Hogarth's voice wears me down and I am shocked to learn that he is a nice guy. He was a jerk in San Francisco.

Boo! Hiss! H is a bloody marvel, and a jolly nice fella to boot.

But, I saw DT in Wembley Arena in '07 and ol' Fanny La Brie nailed Sugar Mice. Nailed it.

Haha!

Here is a blast from the past!

Guess you were right Hatchet!

Now I'm divorced and Wendy is long gone yet I am seeing Marillion on Friday night.

It's true, I'm not a fan of H but I love this band.

Interesting that you think that H is a jolly fun fella.

The experience I had with H many moons ago in San Francisco at the American Music Hall was not so inviting.

More like the "Uninvited Guest."

I went backstage and met everyone but H.

He had no interest in hanging out with the boys and some of us "strangers."

I was able to catch a view of him and he ran like the wind on a cold rainy storm.

To me H is like Neil. Very recluse and private.

That's fine and dandy.

Perhaps it's me.

When I met Neil backstage by his bus he was just like H seeing me in the corner of his eye backstage.

Love it though.

These are just memories to share.

Hoping for a fun Friday night.

Glad I still have Marillion in my life.

Glad I'm single and free.

I will never ever marry again.

"The wedding ring found......."

"Clutching At Straws" for the rest of my life.

"Love Is For Suckers!"

Signed,

TWISTED SISTER

Hahaha! I wrote this stupid thread 6 years ago.

Who would have thunk that Wendy took a raincheck on our marriage?

It was mutual believe me.

But I should have seen this coming six years ago.

Be careful what you wish for in life.

It might come true.

The Universe is always listening.

Yep!

I'm a psychopath.

I will tell that to my amazing daughters tonight.

I am so blessed.

You fools who hate me have no idea about me.

Love it.

I've met FISH many times.

He is a fun loving drunk bloke!

An amazing man.

Filled with booze and epic stories.

FISH RULES!

H is so pretentious and lame.

One of the times I saw Marillion oh so many years ago I was up against the stage. FIsh came over, looked me in the eye, and whispered something into the mic. But I couldn't hear what he said! :( WHAT DID YOU SAY TO ME, FISH?!

That was the highlight of the tour for me. Sugar Mice was amazing!

I had Chaos In Motion in the car last week. I planned to listen to the whole thing, but when Blind Faith and Surrounded '07 came on I just kept hitting the repeat button and never finished the rest of the show. Very tasty.

She didn't give a shit about these bands I loved.

Just went along with it.

Sad really.

But life goes on.

No regrets!

It was Sept. 21, 1987 at the Cabaret in San Jose (I also saw them the previous night at the Warfield). I also met Lars Ulrich that night as he was there to watch the band as well. Let's just say I had had a liberal amount of tequila before I told him my friend (who owned a record store, and who was talking to him at that moment) had a bunch of bootleg Metallica tapes for sale.

HAHAHA!

Well to be honest on a public forum, Wendy and I were fuckking HOT for at least 15 years out of the 20.

Shit just went south man.

"Sign Of The Southern Cross!"

LOL!

Sadly Wendy and I were all about the "IN N OUT BURGER" man.

So hello!

BOOM!

Friendship "came" second."

No bueno right?

Shouldn't you fall in love with your best friend?

I fell in love with my best lover!

Alas!

No regrets!!!!

I have two beautiful, intellectual athlete incredible amazing sweet smart amazing daughters!!!

My lifeblood will live on and no matter what I will say that genetically Wendy and I hit two home runs!!!

I wanted to be married forever like my parents.

it didn't work out.

Shite happens.

I know there are a lot of people on here who hate me.

That's life.

The Rush Forum is pure entertainment for me.

Only a few of you know "THE REAL ME!" LOL!

I've been very blessed on this path of life through all the bullshit we all endure.

We all can't get along with each other.

It's human nature.

But I've made a lot of friends too on here and I love them.

As for the idiots who don't understand me and think I'm a psychopath or some dumb drunk drug addict in the rain, FUKK OFF.

Look in the mirror of your own flaws and issues.

We all have them.

Haters?

Leave me the fukk alone. Put me on ignore.

I have never put anyone on this forum on ignore.

Remember the "Art Of War?"

"Know thy enemy more than you know your self."

Marillion soon!!!

FUN!

I was probably working at Safeway until midnight every fuckking night.

Amazing.

"Clutching At Straws" is like right below "Hemispheres" for me.

Seriously!!

As for Lars no thank you.

A complete short asshole.

Average drummer.

Alas cool you met him.

Seriously not a fan.
