I love Drama but....The difference then is Jon was out. They brought in a new guy, got creative, recorded good new music, then toured on that. He was never trying to be Jon. I have always thought it was a shame Jon has refused to do that very good material. This time around, find a guy that sounds almost like Jon, no creativity, no new material, just tour with the old stuff and try to be like Jon. I think he has failed. He's good but it's not working for me. Too bad Yes is my 2nd favorite band of all time. I want to see them again but with David???

I mean, if they came near me and I was able to go, I'd definitely go, but it's just not the same without Jon (and, to a lesser extent, Rick). Musically, it's really good, with great bass work by Chris (the bass break in the middle is reminiscent of "The Fish").
PariahDog
Wow, this is really dissapointing. I could forgive them one tour with the imposter while Jon was sick (though I purposely did not attend) but what the hell are they doing now? I guess the damage is done and we won't see Jon back in Yes again? And touring with Frampton? This looks like another solid step down the path to tribute band status for Yes. What's next, Yes touring with Styx and Journey? Playing state fairs? Truly sad and dissapointing news from one of my former favorite bands. circumstantial tree
I think Yes should hang it up. They've had a good run, but they're driving themselves into the ground. There comes a time when a band should realize that they can no longer top what they've done and call it quits. It's an admirable thing to do. Even Bill Bruford made the comment that they now look like a "seaside attraction".

Hatchetaxe&saw
I saw the current line-up a couple of months back. I went as a complete Suspicious Aloysius. It was brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Jon's too old and just not up to the rigours of touring anymore. Make good with what you have.
