Earthshine
I have always loved the Isley Brothers. I keep finding more tunes by them that are simply incredible and so emotional. I love these tunes. Check them out! (this song just gets to me every time!) (this has to be one of the best love songs ever!) (Awesome guitar playing in this one) (if this is not soul I don't know what is)
Sonatine
Thanks for the great links, I think the IBs have always been terribly under-rated, yet they have made some pretty awesome music over the years, with possibly "Who's That Lady" and "Harvest for the World" their most well known. Must dig out a couple of CDs of theirs: its been awhile

You know Jimi Hendrix played with the Isley Brothers and no doubt influenced them.
RUSHHEAD666
These brothers kick ass!!!! Cranking "3+3" tonight! Funk! I mean Fuckk! What a great record! "That Lady" is amazing! The guitar solo on their cover of "Summer Breeze" had more fuzzy tone than fuckking Fozzy Bear! Underrated Soul and R&B Masters!!! "Harvest Of The World" is another goodie. Cool to note that Power Station covers the title track. That version is KILLER!
