Holmgren offically joins Browns as Team President.

http://blogs.nfl.com/2009/12/21/holmgren-a...team-president/

Yea, my friend told me about this a few days ago when it was just a rumour. He is a die-hard browns fan and his exact reaction was, 'it couldn't possibly get any worse'. Since he put it that way, I guess it isn't that bad of a move for them. I thought Holmgren was still in Seattle and forgot that Mora replaced him. You know you have to suck when Jim Mora replaces you. lol

Was a big fan of his dad...

YES this is the REAL Jim Mora

What a stupid play by the Redskins to end the first half. They showed trick play, Giants called time out, and then the Skins showed the EXACT SAME trick play. Needless to say it didn't work.

2.gif Then the Giants outscored the Redskins 21-12 in the second half! 2.gif

Good point!

Yep - I've been ragging him about the Browns for years. He still thinks that Bernie Kosar was one of the best quarterbacks to ever live. laugh.gif

Maybe, but Bernie is a good guy and loyal to Cleveland and NorthEast Ohio.

And along with Brian Sipe, was QB during some of the most exciting times in Browns history the kardiac kids we had some good teams back then era 1980's. Bernie was calm under pressure and was considered one of the most intelligent QB'S in the game at the time. Hope Holgrem keeps him on in some capacity with the Brownies. (He's an adviser to Randy Learner, along with Jim Brown)

Does anyone else think that it is TOTALLY LAME that we have 3....countem THREE......rematches of week 17 games in this week's first round of the playoffs? I think there ought to be a rule prohibiting that. I'd be much more excited seeing Packers/Cowboys and Cardinals/Eagles, for example.

I was just listening to Rex Ryan's press conference. He is not the sharpest pencil. Here are a couple quotes from Rex...

"I feel we are a very deep team. There's a lot of depth on this team."

"When you play a team two weeks in a row, you need to prepare like your playing them back to back."

I'm not kidding, I just heard him say these things while I was listening on the radio. http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif

He's absolutely horrible. He has no business being a head coach at the college level let alone at the NFL level.

Yeah that's the dude...same dude who never seen the top 25 in six years as coach at Georgia Tech....same dude who got fired 3 games into the 2009 preseason at Kansas City as thier offensive coordinator. Unbelievable. I had to edit the post because I didn't read your last sentence. I was going to say the same thing.
