Brutal Truth Posted March 14, 2005 Share Posted March 14, 2005 I cry at the drop of a hat, at most anything...but the only movie that consistently kills me is 'Field Of Dreams'. I suppose the fact that my father died when I was 11 (30 years ago this year), may have something to do with it. Some people have a downer on Kevin Costner, but in that film he plays it just right and the emotion cranks up at the right time. When I need a good weep, I always watch that movie... ALifeson85 Posted April 3, 2005 Share Posted April 3, 2005 Another sad part of Saving Private Ryan was when Giovanni Rabishi's character was hit with the grenade shrapnal (sp?), and the other guys tried to save him as he was lying there bleeding to death..and his last words were him quietly calling for his mom...yea, it was pretty messed up... Braveheart - "Freedom" and Bannockburn. For some reason, kena and bagpipe music gets to me too. LOTR Return of the King - The Grey Havens as Frodo leaves with the elves for Valinor.
