I wonder who would win a pie eating contest between Chris Squire and Greg Lake?

Greg Lake would do it with more style, but Chris Squire would probably replace some of apple pies with shepherd's pies and move the contest to a larger venue and claim that is was a more selective audience when they only half fill the shed.

I wouldn't mind seeing them, but I'm just bored as f**k of this setlist no matter who is in the band. The only song I'd be really excited to hear is Fly From Here to be honest, the rest I've seen a million times already.

Chris would replace Greg Lake with Greg Lake, No. 7 Begonia Crescent, Deptford. This particular Greg Lake is a 7 stone, 5'3" vegetarian.

Chris would win by eating all of his, and Greg's, pies. Then, Chris would devour poor Greg.

But Chris would be pissed because of the lack of flesh on his emaciated victim.

Secretly, Chris would love to eat Steve Howe. A healthy mid morning snack for the corpulent bassman.

I have mixed feelings about this.

From our perspective, it is a shame because of how low Yes have sank. But at least he gets to see some form of something called Yes. I think that's better than being a new, young fan who can only watch videos because the group no longer tours.

What i saw last summer was the pits . The band has Zero energy and are losing fans by the minute . People talk about Kiss staying at the party to long and they only have half the Real band, they are doing a hell of a lot better than Yes is now . Kiss still packs Arenas and this cover band can't get 200 people to a theater in NYC . He is better off watching you-tube , atleast he will see the once mighty Yes , for free biggrin.gif

but yeah good performances, downes wasnt sloppy, davison has a lot of energy, i had a good time

crowd was pretty weak though, i'm guessing 400-500 people in a place that holds 12k

what's bad is they played same venue with styx last year and almost packed the place, and davison is definitely better than benoit

fly from here

wondrous stories

heart of the sunrise

Heart of the Sunrise and Awaken are two of my faves. I'd be happy with just those.

i was actually really surprised by the show, they were f*ckin tight

and i think kiss packs arenas cause they're a more popular band who tour with motley crue, not procol harum

How were Procol Harum?

I love them. SO underrated. I blame THAT bloody song. Too ubiquitous.

Has nothing to do with Motley Crue , they do it with bullshit bands like Buckcherry .
