Almost everything they've done is really pretty fantastic. Music... and Geogaddi are the right place to start.

I haven't heard the newest one, Trans Canada Highway yet though. I'll have to check it out sometime.

It's actually just an EP. Their last full-length was Campfire Headphase, my favorite of theirs, just for Dayvan Cowboy alone.

There was a period in the mid 90's when I was REALLY into ambient electronic music, and I'd always heard Boards of Canada spoken of in gushing tones, as well as appearing on many top ten ambient albums of the year lists. Alas, back then their stuff was ridiculously hard to find, so I never got to hear them.

I'll have to check them out sometime.*

*translation: I'll add to my ever expanding want list and it will probably be years before I end up getting around to them. I just discovered Scenes from a Memory a couple of years ago and Ok Computer less then a year ago, and to me these are pretty much "new" albums... unsure.gif

Yeah I have Campfire Headphase as well... it has some amazing tracks but overall I don't prefer it quite as much as "Music" or "Geo".
