ESPN's Pigskin Pick'em

Hey guys,

 

Would anyone here be interested in playing ESPN's pick 'em game along with Fantasy Football?

 

I'm in a family/friends league and it's very simple. You just pick the winner of every game each week. No spreads. You pick the monday night game score to be used as a tie breaker. At the end of the year, the winner gets the bragging rights. The one i'm in, we put 2bux a week in the kitty and winner takes all... but this would be just for fun.

 

With my time constraints these days... it's all I can do. I miss the hell out of the fantasy thing, but last season... letting the computer make my picks was no fun at all. Hopefully things will settle down next year and I can get back.

 

Anyway... if we get enough guys that want to do this, i'll make a league for us at ESPN.

 

Pm me if you're interested. We'd have to have it going by wedensday I think, cuz there's a thursday game. Sorry for the short notice.

 

How to play and rules

Okay... we've already got four members, so it's looking good here.

 

I started the group and it's named TRF and the password is rush2112

edit to change the url.

 

just follow the link, join up and search for TRF in the groups. It's private... so you need the rush2112 password.

 

I kept it private just so not just anyone could join up. If anyone wants to invite a friend, feel free to do so. Just give them the password. I think signups have to be by wednesday.

Okay... i sent out over twenty pms with invites, i mentioned it in a thread and started its own thread.

 

We've got THREE peeps so far. Me, CeeJ and Batman. PTA has committed though.

 

Also, my two oldest sons are promised to join... but what about HERE???

 

I know... we got three more days left, but i want to see some signups.

I went to the site to play around with the selections. Either it's too early to pick or I'm a complete dumbass.

 

Have any of you tried to make your picks?

I've made mine.

 

When you log in, you should get a copy of the schedule on your page. Just clidck the box in front of the name of the team you want to pick as the winner of each game.

 

Then at the end of the schedule... you pick the score of the monday night game to be used as tie-breakers. Then click submit picks.

 

The picks don't get locked until the day before the first game of the week. So you should have until wedensday, i believe.
