Appreciating CSN&Y more and more cool10.gif Old age is creeping up unsure.gif

Not at all.....it's just great music for any age!

I played Deja Vu a few weeks back for the first time in a long time. Still sounds so fresh. Carry On just leapt out of the speakers.

I think I'd still rather listen to it than The Bends, though... call me crazy.

I think you're crazy, maybe.

By the way, I listened to The Shape of Punk to Come: A Chimerical Bombination in 12 Bursts by Refused for the first time today... and holy wow it's great. I can't accurately describe how I feel about it but it's amazing... punk sensibilities with ambition, balanced screaming without being depressing, and best of all, I didn't find any of it to be pretentious. I'm so glad I picked this album up a few weeks ago, and that I didn't decide to wait a long time before listening to it.

Peter Hammill's The Silent Corner and The Empty Stage is one of my favorite albums. The only VdGG album (that I've heard - I don't have debut or TQZ/TPD) that I think is better is Pawn Hearts.

The debut is one of my favorites. It reminds me a little of Syd Barret.

For me "Still Life" is the best VDGG album.
