tHobbs
Ok, im pretty sure 95% of the people on this forum have seen Rush live, but besides them, whats the best live band youve seen? For me, its Coheed and Cambria. They interact with the crowd, they conversate, and overall, they kick ass live. Their encore is amazing, it consists of Welcome Home and The Willing Well IV: The Final Cut, which is extended to a good 30 mins, with improv, jamming, and a drum solo. moltenlava
This is real difficult because its always gunna be the most recent shows which are the freshest in your mind. I saw Rush, Black Sabbath and The Police last year, and those shows are crystal pluckin' clear in my mind. Shows from twenty years ago are kinda lost to a haze of pot and booze. And, if I wasn't such a putz I woulda seen Return to Forever last week. And I'm bettin' that this spectacle woulda topped all others. RTF is such a well-oiled machine that they make even Rush look a little rusty.
PuppetKing2112
As of now, either the Roots or Arcade Fire. But I'm seeing Radiohead on Wednesday and fully expect them to take the top spot.
Mandalorian Hunter
Arcade Fire. They were actually better than Rush. They started with very slow songs and built up. The whole concert was one big crescendo, and probably the best experience of my life to date. I would put Radiohead there aswell, but I was too far away from the stage to really get into it. Xanadu93
The Charlie Daniels Band - October 13, 2007 Then again, the only live bands I've seen are Marshall Tucker, Charlie Daniels twice, Kenny Rogers, several artists at the Grand Ole Opry including Rodney Atkins and Trace Adkins, and Rush 3 times. If I'd seen Yes this year, I know they would have been on top.
