LoneStar Boogie
Hey GAAC, First find a GIF that you like (I assume you have one in mind.) Save it to your computer. Go to the TRF main page. Click on the My Controls Button, then hover over the Personal Profile menu, and then select Edit Avatar Settings. Where is says "Upload a new image from your computer" click the Browse button and browse to the folder containing your GIF. Select that image, and once it populates the path bar, click on Update Avatar. I hope I'm not forgetting anything. Good luck! rushringleader
QUOTE (circumstantial tree @ Jun 18 2008, 10:41 AM) Is the image too large perhaps? Thats always a possibility, though I thought it would take care of it for you.
Gompers
QUOTE (circumstantial tree @ Jun 18 2008, 11:41 AM) Is the image too large perhaps? That might in fact be the case. It has to be within certain dimensions, and maybe even size. Next question along these lines, how does one make an animated avatar from a DVD? I have been wanting to do this for a while. Jaye
If the image is too big, you have to put it on Photobucket. (or whichever you use)

I have been wanting to do this for a while. This is how I made the Monty Python one is my sig. I ripped it off the DVD, edited it in Adobe Premiere Elements, exported it as GIF animation, and uploaded it on Photobucket. Took a while, but worth it! I used Adobe Premiere so I dunno, but you can at the very least edit the clip and maybe try to find a converter online. That's what I originally tried to do, but I went back and noticed you could export as a GIF.
