Close Encounters

7/10 - It was way better when I saw it as a kid. Still a very good film though. I don't know why, but I really like the scene where Richard Dreifus tries to carve the mountain out of the mashed potatoes.

Wall-E

10/10. As usual Pixar has impressed me. This is one of my favourites that they have put out. But Toy Story is still my number one from them smile.gif

Is it bad if I can't remember the last movie I saw?

Either senility has set in a bit early, or it's been a hell of a long time since I've SEEN a movie. huh.gif

Star Trek III: The Search For Spock. Implausible but very entertaining and a great follow up to Wrath of Khan.

8/10

HEAT

I had this one on the shelf for years, finally watched it 2 nights ago.. Very entertaining.

DeNiro was simply awesome. Out-acted Pacino IMO. The plot was predictable, but the acting was superb.. 8/10.

PS: don't start this movie at 10:30pm if you plan on getting to bed early!!! doh.gif

Get Smart - 6.5/10.

It was okay, but definately a "wait for the DVD" movie.

The cast was great, especially Alan Arkin, but the movie played it pretty safe with the plot/story.  There were some great one-liners, though.  The excellant cast made the movie work.

Did you catch the imagined 2.gif reference in the movie?

I saw this movie. What is the Rush reference? I totally missed that.
