There are samples of the tracks on Amazon if anyone is curious.

Complete album is streaming on MTV if you wanna listen..

How do I get the songs to play? I keep clicking on them and all I see are more ads...... comp26.gif

There is a link in blue text that says 'Play all tracks'. Click on that and a Windows Media Player window will pop up. You can click the different track names to skip around if you don't wanna listen from start to finish.

I clicked on that link that said "Play all tracks" and an "MTV.com Media Player" popped up. I clicked on "Play all tracks" in that window and the only thing that happens is that the ad in the big box on the right changes. confused13.gif

Is the new album not being recieved very well? Rob said they were going to play it in its entirety, but they are only playing two tracks from it (although the set list kicks total ass).

Question for Priest fans. I only own Metal Works on CD and haven't heard any of their earlier albums in like over 20 years. Which albums stand out as must haves?

My faves are the ones that start with 'S':

Stained Class

Sad Wings of Destiny

Sin After Sin

Screaming for Vengeance

Apparently MTV.com does not like Apple eyesre4.gif ..... I brought the webpage up in Windows and the album played just fine.

Now I've got it recorded onto MD for listening to later -- I'm happy! biggrin.gif

I think you have to get them all...

Rocka Rolla for instance isn't highly regarded by some people but it has some amazing tracks like Dying to Meet you, Cheater and Run of the Mill...

So get them all except maybe Jugulator and Demolition, they don't really sound like Priest with Ripper (though he's a good singer) and the song quality and production is pretty poor.

I've always really liked Painkiller. It seems to be underrated by a lot of people.

Priest really seemed to become an entirely different band when Scott Travis signed on.

that's because he kick's ass. unlike that boring ass dave holland. i understand doing what's right for the music but that guy was about 2 beat's away from being phil rudd.

I don't know why they didn't keep Les Binks back in 1979, he was an excellent drummer and I can't see why he wouldn't have been the right guy to play on British Steel, Point of Entry, Screaming, Defenders et al. I mean you don't say: "Look we're changing our style very slightly so let's go out and get a bad drummer to replace our good one." it makes no sense.

Tipton's outfit reminds me of Three Amigos.

Maybe he thinks Nostradamus is Spanish, or Mexican...I mean Rob takes care of the lyrics right Glenn??

Best Buy has a pretty amazing deal going on for the album...a box set with three LPs, two CDs, a poster, and a concert ticket in a hardcover book box for $70. ohmy.gif

That's not bad I think, what is it $90 usually??
