LeChuck
Different Strings, Tears, Madrigal are all pretty slow and easy to follow on the bass. Just a few fills here and there. Madrigal has that great sliding bass sound too with the chorus effect - I never get tired of it! Different Strings is also one of the few songs from that era where he has a very mellow (low treble) bass tone. Twilight Zone is pretty simple technique-wise, but a little faster than the above. Still fun to play, I love that song.
Rush Didact
Limelight is actually not all that difficult, but it's very fun to play at the same time. I learned it pretty early on in my days of playing bass. It's just the solo that always trips me up.

edhunter
Here is an old link to a bunch of transcriptions I first posted years ago when I started coming back to the board. I started transcribing Rush tunes as a hobby in the spring of '92, because at the time, there were no books on the market. It would take about 3 to 4 hours for the average song. As years and albums were added, I'd pick the more interesting ones to do. Never got around to V apor Trails because of the mix. Maybe I should go back with the remix. http://www.therushforum.com/index.php?/topic/96490-rush-transcriptions/page__fromsearch__1
edhunter
Crap. The photobucket link is dead. I'll have to figure it out to post links here from a computer. I only ever use my phone. Edited February 1, 2020 by edhunter
