'SQL' BB Code

Hey, everyone. I was bored, and so when I was posting, I clicked on BB Code Help, which is found under the emoticons. Well, I knew mostly all of them, except one. That is "SQL". Like here:

SELECT t.tid FROM a_table t WHERE t.val="This Value"

[sql]SELECT t.tid FROM a_table t WHERE t.val="This Value"[/sql]

Any idea what it does? confused13.gif

That particular string looks like it queries a table for specific information so like I said in my last post, it searches for information in the database. I guess you could use it to add content to your posts or sigs if you know how to use it. I am not a DBA so I don't really know what you could do with it. This is just my guess.

So, what can you actually do with the SQL tags?

It adds more butter to your popcorn, or more sugar to your coffee, depending on the SQL LOL BRB BBQ configuration. yes.gif

Wow, and up until now I thought SQL was just a boring transactional database!

It's that, and so much more! It can keep your dishes from spotting in the dishwasher, and it can also tell you what time it is in Guam! applaudit.gif

It is more for tech. message boards, same utilization of the CODE tags so you can show SQL commands and it automatically puts it in the universal color format for showing sql commands.
