ATWAS by far! The first live album I bought and still remains my favorite. The other releases just dont have that raw and frantic sound that's burried within this recording cool.gif

I've gone with Different Stages, the reasons for which I've gone into in some depth elsewhere (but I can't be bothered looking for the link - idle git that I am).

As for ESL, I've just listened to the Exit...Stage Right boot for the first time in a while - that's what ESL should have sounded like.

2.gif Was a toss up between Different Stages and RIR....Had to go with RIR because of the crowd.....There was a lot of love and appreciation audible in the mix and it gets me even more emotionally involved with each listen....

My order

Different Stages

All The World's

Rush In Rio

Exit Stage Left

A Sow of Hands

because ESL and ASH are "improved in studio" with overdubs and stuff

All The World's A Stage - I just love the version of By-Tor.

Different Stages is a close second.

Mine used to be ESL.

Now it's RIR. The mixing s*cks on it - but I like the newer music (heavier, more bass!), so I keep listening to RiR.

Silly girl. The bass in all of the pre 1990 albums was much more complicated and interesting back then then now. Geddy pretty much just does straight forward boring stuff nowadays because he seems to focus on his vocals a bit more. The only reason you find the bass heavier now is because of production and quality of recording today. If they had the technology back then, i'm sure geddy would have been just as heavy/heavier back in the early days as well.

It's Rush in Rio all the way...but there's a new one coming out soon which will kick but because it's the only one I went to.
