I remember seeing this article and thinking, "Wow, how against type is that?" And I had just read The Yiddish Policeman's Union myself. If you remember, Ged had a cocker spaniel during the recording of Permanent Waves. There's a picture of it somewhere. Maybe he's into the breed? I had one growing up and they are interesting dogs.
