Yup, those are real!

He got those in '93 (I'm pretty sure) but has since removed them.

(darn it all... they looked sooooo cool!)

Hopefully he got them redone correctly. I can tell from that pic he removed them because they were rejecting.

Nope, as far as I can tell from later pics, he never did get them re-done.

 

I think he "got over it", in a way. Whatever inspired the piercing in the first place.

Still, I thought it was cool looking...

 

Oh well...

You can see too much of the jewelry, and can kind of see it under his skin.

 

Plus, surface piercings done with any jewelry besides a surface bar will pretty much always reject. The jewelry will put pressure on the edges of the piercing and the body will push it out.

Well I did post my pic with Steven Wilson in this thread. But as for pics of the show they have a STRICT no camera policy and I wasn't about to get thrown out for disobeying that.
