I truly loved Knocked Up and Superbad, but Juno is a very different movie, somewhat more heartfelt and somewhat less outrageous hilarity, so I wouldn't even try to compare those two with Juno. You'll see what I mean after you see it. Mind you, all great movies that are well worth seeing, but not all for the same reasons. Please come back and weigh in with your opinion after you see it... Test4VitalSigns
Ellen Page is an excellent young actress (yay Canada! ) Check her out in a movie called Hard Candy...she plays a young teen who turns the tables on an alleged pedophile....pretty badass. VaporTrails04
i just saw this movie a couple of days ago. i was really surprised because it ended up being the best movie ive seen in theaters in the past three years. I really liked Batemans character, the husband of jennifer gardner. I found his story to be kinda tragic in that his wife kinda controls him and has burried his dream. My g/f thought he was a perve but i didnt think so. i thought he liked Juno because she was so much like him, not in the sexual way. ANYWAYS, great flick everybody should see it. Magnus
Loved the film. Loved Juno's parents--especially their reaction to her big news. Took me a while to realize that the dad was Jameson from Spiderman. "Did you see it coming?" "Yes--but I thought it could also be expulsion or hard drugs." thestand
I don't know what was better: the movie, or the reaction of the people in the audience who thought this was a typical teen movie. A lot of disappointed faces walking out. Great.

anagramking
We caught this today at a matinee. Superb screenplay. Ellen Page did such a great job, as others on here have already said. Allison Janney's performance was also outstanding. And it was interesting to see Jason Bateman so far removed from his Silver Spoons days.
