Since the thread is so popular here and the other games seem to have gone a little stale, I figured that this might be fun. The next person in here may post a question. Be as silly as you like.

Too late! laugh.gif Nah... just kidding! She's great!

Okay, here's a tricky one (or probably not, for you guys)...

Who played the part of the Black Night in Monty Python and the Holy Grail?

That would be John Cleese.

Okay, here's the 1st clue to this "tricky one":

When Arthur cuts off the Black Knight's leg, a "change" takes place.... HMMM?

When the first leg is cut off, the Black Knight is no longer taller than King Arthur, meaning John Cleese is no longer in the actor in the armor.

And for the record, Jack, for starting this thread, my wife now hates you! laugh.gif

Is it because she doesn't like Monty Python, or is it because since this thread has been started I am contributing to your delinquency? wink.gif Either way, please extend to her my apologies.

Richard Burton played the Knight after his legs were cut off. trink39.gif

...the one legged actor named Richard Burton....not that other famous guy tongue.gif

(If correct ( yes.gif ) I defer the next question to 1001 because I'm on kid duty today wacko.gif )

That's close enough! Bastille Night got it 100% but has differed it back to you, so there you go! new_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif Nice job, and you're up!

Oh, BTW, in case anyone wanted to know, the Black Knight was first played by John Cleese, but when Arthur cuts off the man's leg, a real one-legged actor (a local silversmith named Richard Burton) was used, because when the Black Knight looses both his legs (and his torso is sitting there on the ground), they only had to dig a hole for him to stand in that was only half the size! laugh.gif

Although she's not as big a fan as I am, it's definitely because you're contributing to my delinquency!!!

I posted this story about my best friend and his wife (who is now my wife) in another thread. If you read it, or have already, you'll see she's a big enough fan, for sure! cheer.gif

Not related to the trivia, but here in Chicago today, my wife was in line at a restaurant during lunch, and a couple people ahead of her was Eric Idle himself, along with his wife and daughter. We go to see Spamalot next week.

Edit: Sorry if this was supposed to go in the other Monty Python thread.

That's OK... and it's very cool too, BTW!

Not sure about that movie, the the ones in "Flying Circus" were definitely 16 Tons.
