And remember! "Heavy" is not a synonym for "good." I'm looking forward to discussing this with people and seeing how my list changes when I've had more time to think about it. I also think that 2112 is the heaviest Rush album with Vapor Trails coming in as 2nd. I think Hold Your Fire is the most 80's album they have made, that is to say that the album is very New Wave sounding and therefore not heavy at all. Rush's new wave period of Signals - Hold Your Fire are certainly their four least heavy albums, no question about it. I'd also have to go with Vapor Trails as most heavy. That album is pretty intense, with Counterparts, Test For Echo and Snakes and Arrows following, though I'm not sure in which order.
