rushgoober
Dudes & Dudettes, Superbad - f*cking hilarious shit! Not for kids cause the language is way out there, but this is one amazingly funny movie. Easily as good as The 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up. This movie is ridiculous and ridiculous fun. Highly recommended. Edited August 19, 2007 by rushgoober
LerxstFerret
I haven't seen it yet, but I really want to. I love 40 Year Old Virgin, and Knocked Up.
thesweetscience
Hmm, when I saw the previews I had written this movie off as another piece of juvenile tripe. But coming from someone who hated Edward Scissorhands, you cant be completely wrong.

Mustard Death
What do you mean it's not for kids? I loved it! I thought it was even better than 40YOV, I guess just because I'm about the same age as the main character's... which made it even funnier. I'm definitely gonna be seeing this one again in theaters. Best new movie I've seen in a looooong time.

Dude, you're 17, you can handle it fine, but I'd caution parents about taking pre-teens or young teens to see it... Glad you enjoyed it though - this movie totally rocked! -D-RocK-
I keep hearing how funny and great it is but I'm still waiting for the DVD. No need to hurry and watch it in a theatre.
FredEJ
I usually will not see a movie that appears to be rude-frat-comedy-funk-nasty-biting-rip-roar...yet I went last night. OMG, this movie was amaza-zing. I can't believe it. animal House-meets RUDE meets Tarantino [i am sure I am going a hair overboard]: Neverthe less.......What a blast. I laughs real hard, and I usually do not DEW THAT!

So did I at first, but then all my friends who said it was as good as 40 Year Old Virgin, so that aroused my attention. ... I liked Edward Scissorhands... Ya_Big_Tree
QUOTE (rushgoober @ Sep 4 2007, 11:41 AM) QUOTE (Ya_Big_Tree @ Sep 4 2007, 09:01 AM) Im gonna see this one tonight. I'm so excited! we demand a full report. Well here you go: I have to say that I friggin loved it! I think I am going to be quoting that movie for a long time! So many fabulous one-liners. Especially from the cops! I think McLovin is gonna grow up to be a cop because of his lil adventure that night IMO. The story was hillarious and wonderfully acted. I think it was very relatable to a lot of different people. I mean when I watched the film, I saw all of my friends in there somewhere. Someone was McLovin with the fake ID trying to get booze. Someone was Evan, the clean cut kid always trying to do the right thing. And always ending up the same way. Drunk and disorderly, firing off guns and taking off in police cruisers! Oh I am defintely seeing this one again!
thestand
I saw it 4 times in the first 2 weeks. Pretty sad. But anything Apatow has his name on, I will see. And Michael Cera has been a favorite of mine for awhile, along with any other Freaks & Geeks alum.

Ya_Big_Tree
OMG, I'm watching The 40 Year Old Virgin right now and I just noticed something. The kid who wants to buy the goldfish shoes at Trish's e-bay store is Seth in Superbad! Just sayin'
