But in reflection I reckon you guys are right. the 70's had overall, a balanced wide range of stonkers(great films) Mean streets is awesome. Stormtron
Gotta be the 80s for me...all those stupid kid adventure movies and b horror flicks are my thing. Plus my favorite movie of all time (Brazil) came out in the 80s.
condemned2bfree
I suppose there is two ways to look at this. 1 Analytically remotely and critically, I would have to say 70's +.... 2. emotionally/experience of that time - being an older git . Having experienced 80's 90's and most of 2000 id say I am very appreciative of living through and seeing 80s films, though critically the films are not as good as other decades. Ancient Ways
I like movies from most decades but the eighties are my favorite since the industry moved away from dark movies to more adventurous big production and fun flicks. Raiders of the Lost Ark, Beverly Hills Cop, Ghostbusters, etc...
JohnnyBlaze
The lists made by ReRushed and treeduck are good examples of what were the best films in the 70s. Sure there have been many great movies since then but it seemed that that decade never stopped with awesome flicks
