Thanksgiving, my favorite holiday of them all, in my opinion, never meant to be a secular holiday even though some may treat it as such, just a day to give thanks for everyone and everything we have in our lives. A day to get together with family and friends, watch some football, and pig-out on some bird! Besides that, it usually comes in the middle of the work-week, and most people get to take the day off from work and enjoy some quality time together.
