I agree. The first one is a classic...this one has its moments, but it really is inconsistent.

 

Rule number one of rock: Do not make a sequel to your concept album 18 years after the fact, especially if said concept album was one of the best metal albums of the 80s.

when i came in this thread this morning... that's exactly what i was going to say about the show thursday night....

Neil Young was very political.... a great rocker, but political...

you could just tell crosby, stills and nash they were all, "peace peace peace...."

we had great seats, and it was awesome to see these musical legends!!

Dylan is coming here on October 14. Tickets going on sale this saturday. I'll bet I can convince one of my parents to go for sure. It would come right in the middle of a great concert week for me: The Who on the 10th and the Decemberists on the 17th.

 

BTW, Test, have you heard Dylan's new album yet? It's great.

I wonder how good he'll be...my dad has seen Dylan about 8 times in the last 3 decades, and he said that half the time he's been brilliant and the other half he's been terrible.

 

Oh well, I need to see Dylan anyway, just because you need to see Dylan if you want a complete musical education.
