Concert schedule as of today...

Currently:

Intronaut - July 24

Swans - July 29

Boris - August 5

Sumac - August 18 (new entry)

Likely:

Russian Circles - September 30 (tickets are allegedly selling fast so I better make a decision on this)

Opeth - October 1 (won't buy tickets for this one till a little later...last time I checked today, there were still plenty of seats available)

Possibly:

Wolves In The Throne Room - September 18 (like the RC show, it's likely to sell out since it's the 3rd NYC show added cause the other two sold out instantly, so I better make a decision on it after giving this band a few more listens)

Just obtained tickets for The Rolling Stones in Las Vegas. Road Trip !!!

What a weird way to buy tickets. You can sign on the the AXS website before the event and they put you in a 'waiting room' on a first come, first serve basis. Once the the tickets go on sale, you wait your turn and then you go into the 'room' to buy your tickets.

Deep Purple on June 14th

The band was forced to cancel this gig at lunch time the same day as they were supposed to perform due to Ian Paice had been taken ill. Now the show's been re-scheduled and will take place on July 1st instead. I'm so excited to see Purple!!!

I'm so jealous of you (and anyone else) going to Be Prog. I can't for a number of reasons but it's the most perfect music festival I've ever seen.

Ramblin Man isn't as good as last year imho and the ticket prices are far too high especially since they put them at full price as soon as they announced who would be on.

Sorry, anyway enjoy them both :D

I'm unfortunately doing things or can't go to the five music festivals I want this summer (well, one of them was last weekend) :(

Just saw Al Di Meola last week.

Todd Rundgren has a free show in LA this summer. I'll most likely go to that cause I saw him a couple months ago and he was great!

I have a ticket for Anderson Rabin Wakeman - ARW , for this fall. Can't wait to see ol Rick again!

I agree than RM isn't as good as last year but there are still some good bands playing. I took a gamble and got tickets before they went up to full price. Also, as I have family that live within walking distance of the site I don't have any accommodation costs.

I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to go to Be Prog- I doubt that there will ever be an opportunity to go to a festival with a lineup like that again. My husband got me tickets for this as a belated birthday present and arranged for me to have time off work (something that I can't normally do during term time).

I'm sorry that you aren't able to go to any of the festivals that you would like to go to this year. Maybe next year....
