Mr. Ludwig
This is a picture of his new kit... Taken of rushisaband.com What do you think of the new hardware/drums? Personally, I'd like to see how he uses the cable/remote hi-hat (if he actually does use one), you can do some cool effects with it. I really like the combination of red shells with black chrome hardware. I can't wait to see what they look like with some ambient lighting instead of just a camera flash illuminating them. Hey Neil! If you're not doing anything with your 'old' R30 kit, can I have it?! http://rushisaband.com/images/200704/492.f.jpg http://rushisaband.com/images/200704/496.f.jpg

Mr. Ludwig
QUOTE (Revizx @ Apr 22 2007, 10:25 AM) He used a remote hi hat on his R30 kit. 14'' hats to his right. Yes, but they were not controllable with a pedal... By the looks of his new ones, they are.

the masked drummer
I tried remote hihats two different times and both times I did away with it after a while. They are good for either players that have more than 5 minutes to setup their kits at shows or players that don't play out much. I sold my 2nd one on ebay to a drummer who played for an eighties band ( I won't mention any names). It was DW model. I'd recommend the DW to anyone who wants to try it, but keep in mind it is a luxury more than a neccessity.
