I just saw the Reaping..i can quickly add that to my most hated movie list. I seriously felt sick after watching it..thats how terrible it was.

I saw a movie last night that I think needs to be added to the list...Showgirls! OMG it is so completely lame all it is, is wall to wall boobs and a chick who thinks she can dance but basically has sex with the air the entire time. Oh man and I was disappointed by the preformance of Kyle McLaughlin who has been in other movies that I like.

This brings me to another of Mr Verhoeven's films, the infamous Basic Instinct. Yes you guessed it, shit acting, crap story and fake shagging, another bad porn film. The trouble with this one though is it so wants to be a good film. Stylistically it wants to be Vertigo but it's more likely to GIVE you vertigo, the kind you might get from a terrible bout of food poisoning. The score is a total Bernard Herrmann rip-off, the setting is San Francisco, we have a detective obsessed with a blonde woman and so on. It's a really annoying film to watch, the actors seem to have taken lessons in bad acting. George Dzundza is a good actor normally, but he was really sloppy in this one as a city cowboy cop. It's like he read the script, saw it was shit, looked at the paycheck and just phoned in his performance. It doesn't help that the dialogue completely sucks.

Gus: I went over last night, too.

Nick: I wasn't there last night, either.
