THIS! I have always thought Phil was a great bass player. He never just held down the bottom end, he always played melodic bass lines and the bass was always up front in the mix. Brian Downey is the most underrated drummer of all time. The man is a beast behind the kit. I think his best playing was on the 1st and 3rd albums though. Live at the National Stadium Dublin, recorded on the Fighting Tour, 1975. Fantastic and Raw Plus there's a bonus documentary, which was made in the early 80's, featuring interviews with Phil Lynott...plus a few other bits and pieces.
