damn, Ive searched for  Thin Lizzy thread on here before and couldn't find one. Im a HUGE Thin Lizzy fan. Rush, The Who and Thin Lizzy are my top 3 fav bands. Such a underrated and sometimes forgotten band. Great talent to come out of that band. The rotation of guitarists really made each album/era sound unique but still have that Thin Lizzy sound. Phil died before I was born so i never saw them live.

Fighting, Black Rose and Chinatown are my favorite albums.  great band love em.

RIP Phil

Did you get a copy of this album yet? It's a concert recording from 1975's Fighting tour and it's FURIOUS!! It came out last September, i got my copy back then...

Nice bump Lang!

One of the greatest bands EVER!

Saw them open for Priest and BLS. They were great! It will never be the same without and Phil and Sykes for that matter but they can still ROCK!

Get UK Tour '75 if you haven't already got it. Superb. Raw. Not doctored.

Problem with UK 75 is that it's a loudness victim.

There was a shorter version given away with the Live and Dangerous DVD set and the sound quality is infinitely better.

Then they released it separately, added a couple of tracks and cranked it up.

my fave lizzy disc is "the peel sessions"; raw versions of their best tunes recorded for BBC by john peel;

One of the greatest bands EVER!

After listening to them seriously for the first time and watching a couple of full shows on youtube the past few months, I'm a believer! Lizzy rules! 1022.gif

Awesome... Bad Reputation kicks ass!

Too bad it's 96kbps though... I guess that's normal for streaming?

(Edit): Of course, after posting that^, I find the whole show in flac

Not sure if this can be seen outside of Ireland, but if it is, PLEASE WATCH THIS!

Our national broadcaster is 50 years old this year, and they've put together a few documentaries, culled from their archives, so this stuff has not been seen in decades. There's a doc on Phil and it is fabulous, some great interviews and rare footage. The link brings you onto the main page, the Phil doc is there.
