I'm a Bond fanatic. The first thing I was a fanatic of. I know all the movies, every single actor in them, the directors, I have all the books, I love it all.

So, I saw CR today.

It blew me away. Best bond film in years. Daniel Craig is brilliant. You won't regret seeing this film.

Other thoughts?

Saw it last night and loved every minute of it!! Daniel Craig has proved all the doubters wrong as he pulled off the role of 007 perfectly.

This is the best Bond movie a while, I'm a big Bond fanatic and I just loved this movie. Casino Royale is to James Bond what Batman Begins was to Batman.......

It completely breathed new life into this franchise.......

I saw it and was hugely and sadly disappointed as it was the worst Bond movie ever made. Daniel Craig can't even act, let alone talk. The 20 movies will always be my favorites. unsure.gif

I wanna see it. Is the new Bond better then Pierce Bronsnan?

Definitely. Peirce was a good actor, but not as Bond. This guy gets back to feeling like Bond, but making it his own. I think the Brosnan ones got too into being cheesy on purpose, and this cut all of that out.

I love the Bond films. Casino Royale is the best bond film since the 60's. It's very gritty. Great action sequences. Very good plot. Don't go in expecting gadgets and cars that turn into submarines. The action is very believable within the context of the film. Also, Bond gets his ass kicked. He makes mistakes. Remember, he has just become a 00 agent. Though it does slow down a bit towards the end it does pick up again. Daniel Craig is great. He's definately not the Bond we have seen in the past. New beginning. New Bond. I can't wait for the next one.

Saw it two days ago, and have to say that this one is closer to the attitude of Ian Flemmings Bond then any other Bond Movie before.

For me I can say, good one, even when I miss some things from the movies before.

IMO the bond movies is just boring....

See this one. By rule, I DETEST Bond movies, every one before this I haven't enjoyed. Not only did I enjoy this one, this will probably crack my top 20 films of this year (and as of right now, I've seen 132 this year. I do a yearly review for my school and local paper, so I need to keep a list).

Well for all you James Bond fans out there, The Ultimate Dvd Collections Volume 1 and 2 are available now and Volume 3 and 4 will be available December 12, 2006. I would advise you to get them fast! They will be gone by January! This will be your last chance to get the movies on dvd until the next movie comes out. unsure.gif Edited by Ru5h F@n

Just saw it a few days ago. Daniel Craig(i think his name is)blew Pierce Bronsan out of the water.

Well I have to admit that "Die Another Day" was pretty disappointing as well as "Casino Royale". I know Pierce Brosnan was in it but the scenes weren't that appealing to me except for the car chase scene on the ice and the sword fighting scene. Other than that I found it to be rather droll. "The World Is Not Enough" is the last one that I really enjoyed a lot. unsure.gif Edited by Ru5h F@n

are all four volumes together going to include every bond movie until casino royale? if so, i might look into getting my hands on them.

i just saw casino royale tonight, and i think i didn't pay attention well enough. i was with my best friend and we kinda chatted a little too much and both of us were pretty confused and didn't quite understand the plot. still, i caught the bulk of it and thought it was very good. i wasn't necesarilly completely blown away but again that could be from lack of paying attention, but i definitely though it was good, better than the pierce brosnan ones anyway, except for maybe Goldeneye which was awesome. to be sure though i'd probably have to see both Goldeneye and Casino Royale again, i may decide that i just remember liking Goldeneye when i was younger and that Casino Royale is far superior.

i think my favorite part was the very beginning. i don't wanna give it away to those who haven't seen it but the concept of what he was doing in the very beginning was very interesting, and the black and white was a great affect.

IMO, the best bond since Goldeneye.

Of course Sir Sean is still the best Bond of all time though.

Yes. All 4 volumes will contain all 19 movies excluding Never Say Never Again (released by Warner Brothers) and Casino Royale. unsure.gif
