different strings
QUOTE (Arndrake @ Dec 15 2005, 10:15 AM) One I just remembered, from the Pass Waiting for the world to pause of course it's Waiting for the world's applause but either one suggests a bit of arrogance on the part of the protagonist, or a huge desire for attention. Hey don't laugh but that's exactly what I thought the lyrics said when I first heard the song. It has gone on to be one of my all time favourites. Terry
QUOTE (Earthshine @ Nov 18 2004, 06:33 PM) In Animate, I used to sing "Goddess in my garden" as: God is in my garden. I thought that it was "Goddess In My Garden" in Animate! Oops! Ah, as for the Rolling Stones: "No more will my green seagull turn a shade of blue" Paint It Black. I am not sure of the actual lyrics. hunter
Funny thread. I've too many to mention, but I've heard Geddy say catch the fish in Tom Sawyer live versions so he screws around with the words, I've also heard him sing warm buffalo chip in Vital Signs. And while we may all get it wrong from time to time if you're lucky enough to be picked as an artist to do a song on the Rush tribute album "Working Man" shouldn't you at least learn the lyrics. It's: "Disciples of the Snow Dog sound the knell" Not: "Disciples of the Snow Dog sounding well." A friend of mine used to sing TSOR "...of satan's men. oooooof satan's men" Always cracked me up. Mindcore
My wife thinks Geddy is singing in TSOR: Bright "Nintendo" bristle with the energy. WTF??????? LOL Was Nintendo even around when they boys wrote that song?
