A duet between Usher and Alicia Keys...but there are FAR worse songs out there. What about The Reason by Hoobastank? Or All Star by Smash Mouth? Always hated those two. I have had the misfortune of having to sit through The Reason live. Why the hell did Velvet Revolver pick Hoobastank of all bands to have as an opener... Who knows? Scott Weiland is a random man. PuppetKing2112
QUOTE (Slime @ Sep 11 2006, 07:25 PM) and my standard hatred of some Aerosmith Janie's got a gun Love in an elevator Sweet Emotion All three of these are excellent songs, particularly Janie's Got a Gun. But I do agree about most 80s and 90s Aerosmith.

the masked drummer
"Love Stinks" by J. Geils Band. I don't know. Maybe I just hate the band. They drilled it (that f,ing song) into our heads in the 80's. Maybe that's why we were easily lured into mind-expanding drugs. lol "Against The Wind" -Bob Seger. Seger is from my hometown, but come on, bob. Your new album's format is no different from that old album that came out 25+ years ago. "Need Some Love" -Rush. OK, let's admit it: There's no secret to why neil was encouraged to pick up lyrics as an added responsibility when he joined the band. lol "She Drives me Crazy" -I won't even give the band credit on this one. This song came out when I was just graduating from high school, and I almost lost faith in mankind when I heard how much airplay it was getting. I would like to change the words to: "this song drives me f'ing crazy!" I gotta get back to work now. Lunch is over...
the masked drummer
QUOTE (MrMiltonBanana @ Sep 11 2006, 06:39 PM) Um....The Final Countdown. You got me there. Good one! That song sucks more than anything that's ever sucked before! I saw an 80's cover band do that one recently and almost became violent over it... Rush!
QUOTE (The Rocinante @ Sep 11 2006, 03:51 PM) I don't really like rap, but rap from 15 years ago actually had talented artists. Newer rap is awful I despise newer hip-hop/rap.
