My community college English prof wanted an example of alliteration, and I wrote these lines from Jacob's Ladder... "As they look to the skies The shifting shafts of shining Weave the fabric of their dreams..." I used a Rush lyric for another poetry form, but I can't remember which form or the song. In an acting class we had to do a spoken word piece...So, I read "Red Barchetta". It blew the teacher away. He asked who wrote that great piece of work.
