You want to listen to the bands and musicians who have influenced them. 3. You buy any magazine that has them mentioned in it, however so small. 4. You become interested in checking out books by Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, John Dos Passos and others. 5. You watch The Twilight Zone. 6. You take an interest in Buddy Rich and Big Band Music! 7. You check out the music of bands that have opened for Rush to see what the combination of them and Rush may have been like. 8. Your girlfriend/boyfriend tells you its either her/him or going to a Rush concert. You go to the concert. 9. Your wife/husband tells you to "grow up" and stop listening to/watching/going to see Rush and being such a fanatic to the band or she/he will file for divorce. You call your lawyer. 10. You fly to Brazil (or anywhere over 5,000) miles to see Rush! 11. You go to Canada to see Lakeside Park, Massey Hall, the Laurentian Mountains and Le Studio. 12. You start having soup at least once a week! 13. You line-up for tickets at least 12 hours before Rush tickets go on sale. 14. After buying a new Rush album, you go home and immediately and listen to it with headphones on while reading the lyrics. 15. You keep all the Rush t-shirts, tour programs and ticket stubs no matter how old they are. 16. You buy all solo albums and side projects by Alex, Geddy and Neil. 17. You are inspired to learn to play guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, or sing even if you never previously have in your life. 18. You can sing to and know the lyrics to every Rush song. 19. You can air drum any of Neil's drum fills. 20. You sweat harder then Alex at a concert.You bought Rush's discography on tape and vinyl just because you can.You can sing the solo from I Think I'm Going Bald.The Boys in Brazil from Rush In Rio changed your life.You know you will cry when Rush does there last tour.Rivendell is an amazing song!You celebrate Bastille Day.Had your own roadtrip to Lakeside Park.You compared Anthem the book to the storyline of 2112.Your 2112 post on any forum is a reason to celebrate.You can air keyboard any Rush song.You own all of the Rush compilations even though you already have them on cds.you know, i clicked on your link for your music reviews....and of course, i just scrolled down to the Rs and clicked on - yes, Rush. Something bothered me: On your reviewing of Caress of Steel, you pretty much threw 'i think i'm going bald' to the curb. I very much disagree with that.....you're just not ready to be listening to that kind of ADVANCE Rush, you're on your infant stages still.
