What a cray fun night in Worcester!!!! I went to the show with my wifes uncle and his son. They really appreciate great music. They loved the show!!!

Then there was hanging with Tortoise, Hare, and Agent! What an outstanding time we had!!! Its what having fun is all about!

Then there was the Palladium... We sat in the balcony which had plenty of seating. I thought where were sat was a great view of the show but... IT WAS INSANELY f***ing HOT UP THERE!!! HOLY SHIT, I THINK I LOST 5 POUNDS SITTING IN A SEAT!!! laugh.gif

I never experienced heat like that at any show or venue. WOW! Thankfully after awhile I acclimated to the temp and I was ok, but whenever I went down a level to the bathroom it felt cool as it was 20 degrees less down there.(and it was hot down there but not compared to that balcony)

I never was in a place like that with no AC. ohmy.gif

Anyhow on to the band. They were totally on last night, and it was great to see a longed then Prog nation set list. It finally was a DT show with a good long set list of music. I thought they rocked!!!

Anyhoo, back to my good friends. Thanks for a wonderful night, and I'll see ya in a few short days! tick...tick...tick!!! atickhum.gif atickhum.gif atickhum.gif

We will have pics - - that we took of each other - - up as soon as Tortoise comes home from his packie-job. He had to go in for noon - - gotta pay for the RUSH tics!!! lol

Of course, unfortunately, the Camera Nazis were out in an over-zealous way last night. We couldn't take any pics of the band. Tortoise was escorted to our RUSH-Mobile and "observed" as he placed the camera into the vehicle. SERIOUSLY - - who cares THAT much?!?!? lol

TICK, WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!! kishug.gif

The one and only picture of the band taken by stealth with a cell phone. Our camera was removed from the premises!

Interesting. LaBrie sounds really good.

But what's Guillory gargling when he screams? laugh.gif

Awesome! DT Fans Unite!! 1022.gif Did anyone stay for that other band, "iron madden" or something or another? lol

Yeah. Who wants to see a band that has a singer that actually stays onstage, even during solos?

All I can say is, Labrie would look pretty dopey standing on stage for 10 minute instrumental parts. I'm glad he goes off during those parts. I mean seriously, what the hell would he do for 10 minutes?

I listened to Awake twice today at work. I really think this is their best release. It has many different emotions and has a crafted sound about it. More mature than I&W, yet not forced and very Prog.

Awake still holds up as my favorite DT CD. I remember buying it in college and listening to it repeatedly in my Art classes... very inspirational listening...
