All I can think of is Wilton, Teesside which was the basis for the opening shots

I haven't heard of Wilton, but I'll have to give it to you for Teeside as it's Middlesbrough....Is wilton near or part of Midds?

I don't know about that but the opening scence was based on the ICI factory there.

OK, try this one:

Where would you find Gene Kelly at 6,135, Grace Kelly at 6,329, Steven Spielberg at 6,801,l Micky Mouse at 6,925 and Paul Newman at 7,060?

He was in a notorious American SF film from the 1950s, the making of which was dramatised in an Oscar winning film from 1994.

A couple of minutes on IMDB would set you on the right track.

Thanks. I'm going to try and get this one "honest", though. By wracking my poor benighted gray matter, until it produces an answer.

Hmm....................... (smoke is rising from my skull.)

Don't know if a question is allowed. (Well, yes I do know it's technically not allowed, but I'll ask anyways, in the interest of moving things along.)

Was this an Ed Wood movie?

If so, my guess is that Mr. Mason starred in "Glen or Glenda". confused13.gif

yes.gif

no.gif

If it helps, Tom Mason was kathy Wood's chiropractor (excuse the spelling, that's not a word I use often) and he only appeared in two films. The film I'm looking for is the first and its something specific about his appearence in that film.
