João, this is an absolutely outstanding article!  Giving the history and full context (musically and logistically) of the album and of Xanadu in particular (one of my favorite Rush songs) was very interesting for this long time fan whose read an awful lot on this.  For older fans like me, we absolutely remember the era this album ushered in.  While they evolved throughout their careers, this was one of those bigger, fascinating course changes.  I also loved how you called out putting this song first - that's NOT a trivial detail, it's very different for them, and interesting and cool for all the reasons you wrote.
