Would you go to see Rush if the band were playing instrumental music?

To clarify, I meant reading a book to himself not out loud. If you dare visit the Geddy is Hot thread, you'll find some pretty graphic and definitely inappropriate posts but because they're posts by women directed toward a man, it's okay, apparently.

Not particularly, no. Instrumental only would get old fast. 

It's why I can only take guys like Satriani and Vai in small doses. They are talented as hell, but after a while it all starts to sound the same without vocals.

So did I but he was reading out loud and talking about other stuff. I contend there are people who would go watch him read to himself. For evidence of that, go read some of the obsession in the "Geddy is Hot" thread.
