On May 24th, Lakeside Park celebrates its 124th anniversary as one of the most symbolic places in Rush's memory. It was there, amidst toys, picnics, a carousel, summer lights, and the watchful gaze of a young Neil Peart, that a memory was born capable of transcending time and becoming a song in Caress of Steel.

Thank you João for posting this excellent piece of history. This is certainly a tribute to the youthful author who wrote Lakeside Park and who worked there as a teenager. Lakeside Park has always been one of my favorite songs by RUSH.
