RUSH & Triumph Co-Headline? Would that makes a good bill?

I was thinking about this as both bands are going out on Tour for the first time in about 10 Years, and about 30 years respectively. I think it would have been a great Canadian package.

The shine has gone off Triumph for me over the years, whereas Rush continues to blow me away whenever I put a record on.  I did see Triumph once, and I think I enjoyed it, but I don't remember too much about it.  Rik Emmett did that that sort of insufferable "tip-toe" dance and bum shaking thing.  Unfortunately, most of those lyrics are fairly shudder-worthy, as well.

Nope. I want all Rush, no opener, no co headliner, just Rush. Period.

Triumph has some OK songs but their quality/consistency of catalog is not in the same zip code as Rush. Anything that takes away from the length of Rush's set I don't want.

I wouldn't want any double bill for Rush. "An evening with..." is the way to go.

Based on the sell-outs, I don't think Rush needed another band to help sell the show. Triumph is doing their own shed tour (with replacement players), so if someone wants to see that then that's their prerogative.

Given that I don't know any Triumph songs it's a no from me.

Triumph is not as popular as Rush. Usually co-headliners are two bands that are seen as equal in popularity. It might work in Canada but certainly not in the US.

Triumph can open up for RUSH but not the other way around.
