Lurkst Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Apologies if this has already been mentioned but I've just noticed that for the North American shows (on Ticketmaster and Viagogo) the centre of the stage has been made into a D shape with the front rows of seats curving round it. Is Alex getting really serious with his dance routine plans? 1

James Bond Posted March 5 Posted March 5 "We enlisted [Loren Gold] to free Geddy and me from keyboard and bass pedal duties so we can concentrate on our Beyonce-esque dance routines. I'm not sure how comfortable I'll be dancing in my underwear but I guess if she can do it, so can we." https://alexlifeson.com/new-from-my-big-fat-mouth/ If Lerxst doesn't play in his underwear - we riot. 1 1

Is Alex getting really serious with his dance routine plans? Probably because it fits in more seats in the first row. Those sold out immediately on the East Coast and for $2,500 a pop might as well maximize how many of those can be sold

It's the same amount of seats in front of the rounded part as it is beside it. If anything, there's less seats because there's two less rows.
Sir Lerxst Posted March 11 Posted March 11 The D is where they're going to project a hologram of Neil Peart. 1
XanaD.E.W. Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I'm pretty certain they've always had that stage configuration. Ged and Alex meeting up on the curve D part during sections of songs or on the 2112 Overture part. Maybe if Ged/Alex switched sides this time or had a stage setup like Metallica's M72 tour then I'm pretty sure nothing should be read into the stage shown on TicketBastard.

This got me checking back, there was a small D at the front of the stage on the R30 tour... It was back to the straight stage front for subsequent tours... I noticed the front of stage D has been added to the seat map for some of the European shows now too. Edited March 12 by Lurkst 1

Viewing those pics just made me a little emotional. Its going to be tough seeing someone else sitting behind Geddy and Alex other than Neil!

losingit2k Posted March 18 Posted March 18 I'm thinking something along the lines of the R40 Tour! Man it would be nice if they brought the Orchestra back again!
