Rodmo Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Out of the two dozen or so songs that the band will play on any given night, I’m sure they will play a few of my favourites when I see them in my hometown of Toronto. If Fly by Night makes some attendees happy, in the spirit of generosity I am glad to hear them play it. It does have historical significance in the evolution of the band. 3

I won't complain if it's played.....it's meh to me....not some song that I have to hear....but like you said...it might be a fans favorite.....if they play it, I will sing it and enjoy it. It's all good. 2
losingit2k Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 I agree with Todem. It's not on my "must have" list but I do feel I would really be surprised and enjoy it none the less! Specially since they haven't played it since the AFTK tour in 1978 and I've never heard it played live! Actually, I don't think many fans have.

Even Anika is wearing her hair in a Viking-style heavy metal braid to leave no doubt. A viking intermission skit would work very nicely. They haven't explored that yet. 2

That's a great way to look at it. If it happens I'll keep that in mind. I just won't be enthused. 1

BlairC45 Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Kinda funny, especially on All The World A Stage with Fly By Night/In The Mood combined. As a stand-alone, I'm not too sure, as I never heard it after the Live album was released. Might not have the same punch as it did on ATWAS? 1
