I expect sometime in the next few months we'll hear something either close to the beginning of the tour or shortly after the beginning of the tour about another run of shows in 2027. However I remember hearing something about Geddy and Alex mentioning that they were thinking about doing some shows in Asia, which could mean a return to Japan, and maybe a couple other countries. The more likely thing I think will happen though is that they'll announce a shorter North American leg again, going to more secondary places that they didn't get to this year, which I imagine would start in May/June 2027, and conclude sometime around September later that year. I think there will be more announced, because Rush usually ends their tours closer to home, or at least somewhere on this continent.

What do ya'll think?

I will be really surprised if we get a second US tour leg. My gut feeling is that we won't have one but I'd like to be wrong. I'm planning on seeing three shows this tour to get a good taste of the set lists. My last show (unless they announce more) will be in San Antonio.

As for touring Asia, I have my doubts. The band hasn't played there in over 40 years, not since Japan for Grace Under Pressure. I don't think they've ever had a big fan base there so it seems much less likely to me. But the fact that they added a show in Mexico City when they haven't played there in 20+ years means anything is possible. I think the band is taking a really different attitude to this tour.

I'm with TGR on this one. It would be nice to not have to go about 500 miles one way as the shortest distance to catch this, but I will believe a second US run IF dates are announced.

My plan right now is July 18 in Chicago. I have vague plans to fly to Charlotte to see this on my birthday, but that decision will probably be made later.

They seem full of surprises- I think it's great they're going to South America and Europe. Hopefully the shows will go brilliantly from the start and they won't be dreading all that they've signed themselves up for or anything like that, haha.

I'll just say it's interesting that they've added a new leg of the tour more than three months before the first show has kicked off.

Or maybe they had it planned this way all along, who knows?

I don't think they'd much choice, it seems like the norm for big tours to go on sale a year in advance now.

I wonder if we'll see some festival appearances in the summer of 2027? Neil certainly wasn't a big fan of those type of gigs, perhaps the new lineup will embrace the experience more.

All conjecture- who knows, who knows indeed.

I'm just very grateful to get to see them at this point.

(But Japan was surprisingly good, and it's the new release of Grace under Pressure? Perhaps more announcements to follow?

Sounds like your "three shows" should be 5 days apart?  Because of the announced set lists being on rotation every 5 nights or so. How that factors into venues and where to get tickets, beats me, but what's your plan? San Antonio for the end, but the lead up shows?

For those of us here in the north country, we can't wait! This is going to be amazing - especially with Geddy talking about the stage production and some old band support members coming back on board for the tour. Amazing. Truly.

August in Toronto!

For me my 3 shows will be 2 months apart across both legs. 2 shows in Dallas, at the beginning of the tour, and one towards the end of the second leg. I figured that way I can get a really good experience of both legs.

Man. I don’t know about this.

These dudes are not in their spry 60s anymore.

Are they going to have the energy to do all these dates?

I don't think they would've added all these if they didn't feel confident enough in their abilities. Keep in mind, they've also been rehearsing and getting in shape for it presumably almost daily for the past year

I want them to tour forever believe me. And I don’t care if Geddy Lee is barely squeaking out the words.

they are raising the stakes very high. They have two brand new members of the band. They have no idea how the dynamic is going to play out over multiple months and dates.

I'm very excited for the overseas people but, yes, I have the same concerns as many others it seems like they've bitten off a whole lot and I hope they can chew it all. But according to that interview on Planet Rock it sounds like they've been working out and eating healthy and doing all the right stuff so hopefully they will surprise us all.

Considering a lot of the second wave of US shows they've added aren't close to sold out the way the initial ones are, I think it might be kind of overkill to add even more US dates before they get through what they have.

Finish up the current dates in spring of 27, then maybe think about making new music if they're going to do that (reading between the lines it sounds like they want to), then do more dates after that.
